Pamela Pavliscak (pav-li-check) explores our conflicted and emotional relationship with technology. Currently, CEO of SoundingBox, Pamela advises designers, developers, and decision makers on how to create technologies with emotional intelligence. Pamela is on the faculty at Pratt Institute’s School of Information and shaping an IEEE Standard on ethics and artificial intelligence. Pamela often speaks on creativity in the digital age, generation Z, and emotion and technology, most recently at Web Summit, SXSW and TEDx. Her book, Designing for Happiness (O’Reilly), exploring how technology can support well-being will be out in September 2017.
