Metropolitan Pavilion

The pavilion is the primary conference venue for Interaction 17. Morning sessions, keynotes, meals, expo, and happy hours will all be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion during the main conference from Monday, February 6, through Wednesday, February 8.

SVA Theatre (Beatrice and Silas Theatres)

SVA Theatre

SVA Theatre will host many of Interaction’s afternoon sessions during the main conference, and will also host the Education Summit on Saturday, February 4. SVA Theatre is approximately 10 minutes by foot from both Metropolitan Pavilion and Haft Auditorium. SVA Beatrice and SVA Silas are part of SVA Theatre.

FIT’s Haft Auditorium

FIT Haft Auditorium

Haft Auditorium at Fashion Institute of Technology will also host many of Interaction’s afternoon sessions during the main conference. Haft Auditorium is approximately 15 minutes by foot from Metrpolitan Pavilion and 10 minutes from SVAT Theatre.

  • On the No. 1 train, get off at the 18th St. stop. Proceed east to 125 W. 18th St.,
  • On the No. 2 or 3 train, get off at the 14th St. stop. Walk uptown (north) to 18th St. and 7th Avenue; turn right onto 18th St., and proceed east to 125 W. 18th St.
  • On the A, C, or E train, get off at the 14th St. stop. Walk uptown (north) on 8th Avenue to 18th St.; turn right onto 18th St.. Crossing over 7th Avenue, proceed to 125 W. 18th St.
  • On the No. 4, 5, 6, Q, R, N, or W train, get off at the 14th St. stop (Union Square). Walk uptown (north) and west to 18th St. and 6th Avenue. On 18th St. proceed west to 125 W. 18th St.
  • On the M, F or L train, get off at the 14th St. stop. Walk uptown (north) on 6 th Avenue to 18th St.. Turn left onto 18th St., and proceed to 125 W. 18th St.

SVA Theatre

  • On the C or E train, get off at the 23rd Street stop, Walk one half block west on 23rd Street
  • On the 1 train, get off at the 23rd Street stop, Walk 1.5 blocks west on 23rd Street
  • On the F or M train, get off at the 23rd Street stop. Walk 2.5 blocks west on 23rd Street

FIT’s Haft Auditorium

  • On the 1 train, get off at the 28 Street stop, Walk one half block south on 7th Avenue and turn west on 27th Street. The entrance to the Haft Auditorium is on the north side of the street in the middle of the block.

TAO (Opening Reception)

  • On the A, C, or E train, get off at the 14th Street stop. Walk west on 14th Street and turn north on 9th Avenue. Walk two blocks to the intersection of 16th St and 9th Avenue. The entrance is on the north-east corner.
  • On the L train, get off at the 8th Avenue stop. Follow the walk directions above.

Gotham Hall (Interaction Design Awards, Closing Reception)

  • On the B, D, F, M, N, Q, or R train, exit at the 34th Street- Herald Square stop. Walk 2.5 blocks north on Broadway. The entrance is on the east side of the street.
  • On the A, C, E, 1, 2, or 3 train, exit at the 34th Street- Penn Station stop, Walk east on 34th Street, Turn north on Broadway. Walk 2.5 blocks and the entrance is on the east side of the street
