Jacklyn Laryea is a Ghanaian designer and painter living in New York City. She programed her first game at the age of 10 by watching her father write code and build software at home. For a long time she thought she would be a lawyer, then a sociologist, then a professional painter or illustrator. Needless to say, it was a bit difficult for her to figure out exactly what she wanted to be and she worked at a lot of different companies within the design industry to try and figure this out. She is happy to have found a path that lets her combine all of the things she loves. She currently works as a product designer Facebook and is mildly obbessed with Michael Jackson, traveling, kit-kat bars, old school hip-hop and elephants.
