Elissa Frankle is the Museum Experience and Education Specialist at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. In this role, she applies principles of user experience design to the built environment and responds to visitor needs with digital and analog solutions. She also leads digital exhibit and experience projects, including History Unfolded: US Newspapers and the Holocaust (newspapers.ushmm.org), a “citizen history” project engaging people throughout the country in researching knowledge of the Holocaust in their local newspapers from the 1930s and 1940s.
