Over the course of 24 years, students of Auburn University Rural Studio, based in Hale County, Alabama, have been designing and building houses, community projects and public landscapes for an isolated and underserved community. The lecture present a selection of the projects built by Rural Studio, explaining its evolution and how it has become embedded in its place and community and most importantly, how it has contributed to that community.
