Julie Stanford

As a Co-Founder of Sliced Bread Design, Julie helps companies use design thinking to create a vision for their product. A strong advocate for design thinking as a problem solving technique in any arena, she has particularly been a thought leader in the creation of synthesis processes for needfinding research and cross platform experience design.

Julie is also a recognized educator at Stanford, where she is on the faculty of the d.School and the Computer Science department. Her courses include Rapid Experimentation, Cross Cultural Design for China, Interaction Design Studio, and Designing Solutions to Global Grand Challenges. In addition, she teaches Product Innovation through Design Thinking for the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program at the Center for Professional Development (SCPD), the highest rated course in the program.
